ACTIVITY IDEAS

  • There's so much to choose from we made a whole page for it!




​CHOOSE A DATE, TIME & LOCATION

  • It doesn’t have to be a Saturday. A weekday evening or Sunday afternoon are also great.
  • You only need an hour! Choose a 1-2 hours time window appropriate for your activity.
  • Location can be a front or back yard, the boulevard, an avenue or street closure (permit application needed 14 days prior), a local green space, or the community league.




​INVITE NEIGHBOURS

  • If you know someone on your block, recruit them to help you out!
  • You will need about 30 invitations. Create on your own (try Canva) or use one of our templates. We will print copies for you!
  • Drop in mailboxes. Ask some neighbourhood kids to help you out!
  • We can also provide you with a lawn sign.




​GATHER RESOURCES

  • What can neighbours bring and share?

​CONNECT & HAVE FUN!

  • Set out name tags and a variety of colorful markers and/or stickers to decorate them.
  • Try your best to greet and welcome every person. Assign some outgoing people this task.
  • Share emails or phone numbers or create an online group (e.g. WhatsApp)
